My Scania Crane 6x4 Scratch built.

 Hello to all from Istanbul,

Tonight I will add my latest model kit Italeri 1/24 scale Scania 6x4 truck with the crane on it. I did it for a truck project in Turkey and took about 4 months to finish it ! :cracy:
The kit itself has 1 axle on the back but for the crane I had to add a second axle. I copied most of the parts by getting their molds with a special paste and used cold acrylic and liquid polyester to copy 1 by 1.
The electrical equipment also took most of the time. I tried to hide all cables and other details inside the truck so that if some one looks from outisde could see nothing :idee:
The paint is Tamiya TS 50 mica blue. I will add some pictures of the cabin from inside. You may find it interesting.

Here are the pictures.

Hope you like my truck :ok:

Thank you :ok:

I used 3 and 5 mm leds on this truck. They are special and they light brighter than normal ones. Front leds look like xenon
The roof bar comes with the "Truck Accessories" kit. The crane belong to "truck conversion kit" of italeri which is out of production.
I wanted to use SMD leds which are smaller but they need more power to light up. My power source was 3.6 and 550 ma batteries which are locked up inside the fuel tank easily :idee:
With 3.6 battery I lighted up more than 18 leds which is high quality :ok:

Hy Aslan,

so, here we have another great Truck out of your "Garage".

Very nice Details an a very impressive Look over all.

Specially that you are able to create a second rear axle by copy it 1 by 1 with modelling paste, wow thats great :ok: I will have this ability too :will: ... :D

What´s about the crane an the extra light-bars on top of the cabin an over the fornt bumper? Are they parts from the Italeri Conversion Kit?

Keep on doing building Trucks like this, I´m really a fan of your Job´s! :ok:
