This my first posting to this site and because the language is German I am having difficulty in translating all these words into english. I am using Altavista during the translation. There may be mistakes in my first message but I will try to do my best to show you my last builded truck Peterbilt 377 A/E
First of all I am really a Truck lover. When I was a child I used to visit Truck Garages to see all beautiful vehicles and try to touch them. As I grew this became a hobby for me. I tried to buy their kits although there is not much in my city.
2 years ago I began buying truck kits from ebay and I met the most helpfull and kind person HEINZ from Austria. He really helped me a lot and I bought many of my truck kits from him. A already have 45-50 Truck kits in my stocks. Most of them are waiting me to finish all but I prefer making them in a long time period
Peterbilt 377 A/E will be my first model in this site and as soon as finish the MAGNUM truck I will also post it.
I tried to use my electronic knowledge on this kit and decided to put lamps to all over.
First of all I travelled lots electronic shops to find out the smallest SMD led. Then I had to search for a thin cable with a professional soldering staiton. SMD leds are so small to see, so I had to buy a lamp with a lens. As you can see 1 model kit caused me to buy to many items
Now everything was ok. I attached the cables to the leds. Drilled up the places where the cables will pass. Because its impossible to open the glued parts, I shoes the highes care while soldering the cables. If one breaks then all lights will off
It took 2,5 months to finish up all these work. I am very pleased with it and hope you also like it. I do not want to use much space in my first message because you may bore
Now let me attach the pictures and let me know what you think of it.

Hi Aslan , this Truck looks very nice and with the lights on it it is the perfect modell for me .
But i have one question , whats the name of the colour for the body you used.
I have an airbrush & compressor with all the colors but I prefer using TAMIYA spray colors on my models. This one is TS-19 Metallic Blue. I also applied 3 coats of TS-13 clear varnish on it. After all these processes I applied a model wax to add a perfect look
Sprays are expensive and they are unable to be use inside the house. When I paint something with a spray, the floor becomes the same color with the truck so I use to paint the parts under the apartment
The SMD leds that I used on this truck are special ones that we have in our cell phones. They are really adding a nice view to the model but the only disadvantage is not all of them works with 1 AC adaptor.
I had to use 3 adaptors to light all up.
Congratulations! You have built an outstanding model indeed!
You have built the Peterbilt perfectly and the colordesign is beautiful... This truck doesn`t miss any decals, it looks very fine , as it is!
You spent a lot of time for details and SMD leds? It was worth it!!!!!!
