Scania R500 Lowliner
Hallo Zusammen,
eine R500 nach vorbild unsere ersten Scania in firma meine arbeitsgeber. Die Scania haben wir in verkhere zeit august 05 mit
eine mega-auflieger von Krone.
Die Modelle haben 8 tonn vorderachse und supersingelreifen.
Der boggi hat lowprofile reifen von KFS(Auslowe) und es ist der 6x2
kit von KFS. Ich habe 6x2 gemacht und sonnst ist der 3 achse nicht
ganz richtig.

I have the plane-trailer under construction but haven't figured out
how to get the rigtht tires yet. I have asked Howard at KFS if he have
those tires in the plans for the future. But he had no plans offering them in the near future. I have tried to cut old AMT-tires in to but they seems to be to loose. Maybe I give it a try again with some fill inside.

Hallo Petter,
dein Modell entspricht fast dem Original,ich hätte die Stossstange mit den Kotflügeln noch in der gleichen Farbe wie der Kühlergrill gefärbt.Aber sonst ist es super gemacht Gratuliere!

Are the trailer tires the same as offered on rear axle of TG-A as option - drive thread single type? If so, you might want to try front tires from Revell Pererbilt wrecker and Bill Signs truck.

I am not sure about the trailor-tires are the same as some manufactures offers as singel drive-tires. The trailor tires are the in dimmentions 435/50 R19,5. The front tyre from the kits you mentions I think are about the right wide but I am not sure about the diameter.
But If so who offers those tires ? Is it possible to order them directly
from Revell. I tried too order some 19,5 tires and rims from Italeri once
but with now luck. At the same I made a complaint over 2 kits of the
latest Volvo FH16 Globetrotter. Bots kits had the windshield broken at the same spot. I ordered those kits from Hannant's in England and was told by Italeri to make the complaint to the English importer. So I did and where told they would send me replacment-parts but nothing ever happened. I was able to finnish the kits without the damage was wisible. But I must say I was disepointed by the public releasions by Italeri.

In the past, M&G sold these Revell tires, but you can try the X-department at Revell AG in Germany. Tyrer diameter is 47mm.
