Hi Marco,

good job you are doing...!

One question, you seem to work with ESCI 1/24 cars a lot - how are their availability and average prices in Italy?

Thanks & Regards
Patrick

Hi Patrick

Thanks for the comment!

I am a collector of ESCI kits but in Italy nowdays it's impossible to find in a hobby shop an old kit. :(I bought all my kits on ebay or from a friend that had an old stock.Infact I was lucky to buy from him some kits that are very rare and too expensive on Ebay.

I take also kit not sealed or with some parts painted. These MB had wheels and dash painted and I stripped and repainted :)I found it in UK last year for abot 10 euro

OK, thanks!

It's the same here, old kits are hard to find, even on Ebay. And if there is one, it is usually out of price...

It's a shame that Revell and Italeri have the old ESCI stamps and they don't reissue some nice kits :motz: :motz: like Lancia Beta,Toyota BJ,Golf Rallye.Mercedes Bandama and Dakar etc.Considering that they are near 30 years old they are today still nice kits with great subjects!
I think Tamiya Italeri Revell and Fujimi makes only no sense kits today :!!

well, I can't agree more on that, but we should be happy that they reisued at least Fiat 131 abarth
I managed to find a lot of ESCI in nord est Italia, for about 10 Eur for box, but now it seems that owner find out ebay, and he has no esci anymore on shelves.....

PS
Marco, ciao, mi puoi dire se esiste qualche forum simile a questo in italia?
