Change of plans!!!

To make a long story a short one:
The stepframe trailer are temporarely postponed.
And I've started a replica of the original trailer for this LBS.

And its going to be a canvas trailer originating back to the 60ies.

Similar to this one, only difference are spread axles.

And this is how it looks sofar:

So, axles are all ready, and I have started to timeconsuming work with the lights and other details. :und:

and offcourse the lights to the truck!

So thats it for now!
Next now will be gathering information, and finish the paintwork on the cab. :tanz:

Feedback are allways nice to get. atleast with 1400 reads +! :bussi:

RE: Scania LBS 76 6x2

soon finished with the paintwork.

All left to do are to even out the bends on the red paint, and remove a red spot.

I dont understand how I could miss this spot??? :!! :motz: :bang: :nixweis: :will:

Maybe its something in the paint? :cracy:

Also another layer of red on the bumpers, as I have made reference points at the corners.

Also I will have to make the red field in the front alittle bit higher over the frame on the grill, but these minor adjustments where impossible to see when I masked up the cab.

Now its much easier to find the spots where the red and white layer seperates.

Enjoy! As I certainly do!
I guess the next update will be a finished, and a perfect paintwork!
Just alittle bit more of masking and Im almost all done!
But I will let the paint dry for atleast another 24 hours before I do the final painting!

Nedloyd: Kit quality are excellent. compared to the L111 and L141 its the kit which requires least work to fit.

So the trailer are soon ready for details and paint!

RE: Scania LBS 76 6x2

Ok, what do you with 0,9mm steelwire and an evergreentube of 2,3mm?

Thats right, cut them in small pieces and bend them.
Not only once, but about 100 times.

Next up now are to fix the solartex and cut about 100 holes along the side, and put in about 1,3m of thread.

And then repaint the rims, and finish off this model!

Enjoy :bussi:
