MAN TGA

Hello All,

A couple of fotos of my MAN TGA, that I am building at the moment.

The cab has all the air management kit removed.

The fuel tank is made from 2 M&G push axle tanks and a 7mm extension between them.

I am unable to make an album with arcor, as I do not reside in Germany

Hallo Sacher,

I have 3 companies in mind for this truck, a lot will depend on the time I will have at the computer to make the decals, as I will use Coreldraw to make the artwork and my Alps to print them.

So I will not make a decision until I have to paint the final coats.

Hi Pinball!

So long so good!

It looks quite interesting. I will keep looking for the following pix.
Can You share us some infos about the colour You will paint? You should have some ideas, shouldn't You?
And an obligatory question: will You build an English truck with right-side steering wheel or a continental one? The windscreen wipers show a continental one.

Cheers:
Russell

Hallo Russeli,

Definately a left hooker, I have allways preferred Euro trucks to UK trucks, and especially those from the Eastern parts of Europe, like my Iveco in Pekeas livery in the bildergaleri, I also put a Magnum in Norbert livery as well. Check out these at

https://public.fotki.com/Pinball17/

It looks as if it will be painted white with black chassis, and will definately be the odd MAN out,( pun intended), being in the livery of big Actros user Willi Betz,

Bye

Ron

Hello Ron,

Your MAN looks very good. White is not the most simple color to work with. Which brand of paint did you used for it?

Kind regards,

Egbert

Hello Egbert,

In England we have an Automotive spares retailer, and they have their own brand of car paints, all are acryllic,,
Cab had grey primer , followed by white primer, followed by 2 or 3 gloss white, I think it was Vauxhall Glacier White, in germany probably opel,
the chassis was fiist sprayed with grey primer and then satin black from th same shop

As allways, I warm the paint first, by standing in hot water for a few minutes, after sahaking the can well, then shake again after drying water off the can, and spray on a warm dry day

Roland , look forward to seeing you K100,

Thanks for all comments

Ron
