Trumpeter's KV-1 EHKRANAMI

Hello.
Here are some photos of my KV-1 ehkranami.
On the tower it says "to victory" and on the rear panel it says "to berlin"

Hi Pierre,

not bad at all!
I like the weathering and especially the hand-lettering of the slogans, the free-hand drawing matches the overall look very well.
Would be nice if you could tell us a bit more about how you build it, e.g. was it brushpainted or airbrushed etc .
It might be worth it to add a bit more dirt to the tracks, especially when viewed from the front they look a bit too clean, compared with the rest of the tank.

Again, nice model, as fas as I can see cleanly build and well painted/weathered, I like it.

I'm looking forward to see more models from you.

Bastelkalle: I worked on it for about 2 months.

Joninger: yes i understand you.

Schnurx: I just built it out of the box and I brushpainted everything on it.
I used tamiyas mud wheather stick to create the mud on it. For the slogans i used a white marker pen.
I wanted it to look like it probobly would have looked like in russia during the spring.
The next 2 KV tanks (KV-1 and KV-2) I am going to build will have a diffrent camouflage painting.
And yes the KV is my favorite tank.

Hi Pierre,

well the Trumpeter KVs are very nice kits and the KV series are definitely very "tankish" looking tanks.
Their angular construction and broad tracks make them look much more "rugged" and "down to business" than some other, sleeker tanks e.g. the T-34.

Well, looking forward for more, have fun.

also best wishes and Congratulations to your nice work. what kind of colours did you use? i would have used more details and some Completing parts, for example some bags, ammuniations or some tents....but its your decision.

It does not says "to the victory" ))) It's written wrong) You should write " k pobedE" not "k pobeda"
