The engine is in original color. That's the color I found on many real trucks of this type.
I'm glad you like it.
And I give some more pictures of the process of building this model.

The engine is in place, connected and ready for some wireing.

The interior of the truck is also being painted. It will be 2-colored.

The motor is connected to the rear axles ( all rear wheels are powered for better traction on icy surface of Canada and Alaska ).

...you are fast...

I'm actually not that fast. It's just so, that the model is in reality almost finished :rot:. I'm just giving you the pictures step by step, and not everything at once. Because I think that by the the time, pictures presented here, reach the progress in real live, the model should have been finished by then. :tanz: :tanz:.

I'm glad you like the combination.

Have fun everybody.

The undercareage of a truck is nearing the end.

The interior of a cabin is being colored in two colors

The undercarege of a trailer is laso nearing the finish.

And the undercareage is more or less finished.

More progress as soon as possible & I hope you liked it so far.

Hi

Kabins are painted in white.

The wall behind the sleeping cab is made.

Rear lights on the truck are also finished.

And some progress on the trailer.
The upper part is made.

And painted in silver.

But then disaster. When I tried to spray with lacquer, it has destroyed tha paint. So , I had to celan off the paint.

And I also stregnthend the side panels and straightened them.

That is it for now.
Have fun, and I hope you like it.

And on we go

Pipes for the motor.

First preview of the truck.

The trailer is also being painted in white.

And this is the first view how long it is going to be.

And here are some parts painted in the second color. As you can see, the truck and trailer are going to be in white-yellow colors.

And the trailer. But again something went wrong. The top was too shiny.

So again I had to remove the yellow color and rapaint it in matt yellow.

I hope u like it.

:rot: :rot: :rot: :rot:
It makes me SO HAPPY to see that like it so much.

And On with the progress we go :ok:.

Progress on the driver's cab.

And on the sleeping cab.

And on the undercareage. Which remindes me. bastian82 asked about the color on wheels of the truck. I sadly admit, that I blew them. I left them in the silver color, when wheels on the trailer are chromed :bang: :bang:.

And some progress on the trailer.
The oil tank is painted and attached, pipes are home mode.

And side lights are painted and ready.

That's it for now.
Thank you.

Hi

And here are the the pictures of almost finished truck.
The next pictures are going to be in "bildergalerie" as a finished model.

Front bumper is on the truck. Chains are added.

The engine hood is also finished. Decals are on.

And finished truck from down side up. You can see completed undercareage.

Also the roof is done, decals added completely.

The trailer is also finished.
From the front.

At the back, I had to made rear bumper moveable on a hinge, because in original, when I tried to lift the trailer fully up, the rear bumper hit the last set of tires. So I had to made it moveable.

That' s all for now.
There will be one more thing, but let's keep that for another time ;)
