Zitat Original von hardee Great model, Marcos !!! absolutely perfect and clean built. What kind of redline tire did you used ? Or did you painted the redlines yourself ? Hartmut The Lindberg 66 Chevelle kit comes with some really nice tires, these have a groove in them so all I had to do was add flat red enamel paint and wipe off the excess with paint thinner.

Zitat Original von Michael F Hi Marcos, a perfect mopar!!! But what about the windshield wipers? What method did you use for the vinyltop? I have a resin `72 Ford Ranchero on the to do list and i want to add a vinyltop. I`m not sure about the right method? When I took the picture of the engine the car was still in progress, that's why the wipers were missing!! Anyway, the way I simulated the roof was with an adhesive spray from 3M. The texture was perfect for this. After shooting it out of the ...

Zitat Original von RockinRoller The body looks like the one from the 1969 Revell/Monogram Charger... with smoothened markers on the side !? (Die Karosserie sieht aus, wie die vom 1969er Revell/Monogram Charger... mit weggeschliffenen Positionslichtern!?) Overall a good paint/polishing job, but the chrome trim around the c-pillars look a little thick - but I think that´s mostly a molding problem! So Revell/Monogram is to blame for that! I even love that polishing, but it brings the paintjob to a...

Zitat Original von Paint-It Hi Marcos, another perfect car of you. Your paintjob is a dream and the carpets look like they're real What material you used for them and how did you built them??? Greetings Moritz For the carpets I just bought some plastic paper stock, used some wire for the surrounding areas, painted them with textured paint and that's it. Thank you for your comments!!
I did this one about 5 years ago, basically box stock but slightly lowered. Alcladed the engine and did some interior detailling. I painted it with some paint I found in a crafts store and cleared it, rubbed and polished!!!
